National car Rental And Hillsborough New Jersey

You may know their name very well but were you aware that National Car Rentals is not only one of the oldest Car Rentals companies but also a great pioneer in the world of renting carsIt was one of the first car rental companies to form over half a century ago but national car rentals is much more as it is also a pioneer in many areas. It is nice to know that in fifty six years of service it hasn’t lost the edge and was indeed the first company to introduce the now famous one way rental which allowed the customer the facility of dropping his rental car off in a different place to where he picked it up from.

In an effort to speed the rental process up, they also introduced a computerized reservation process which has made renting a car from them faster and much simpler for the person renting the vehicle. Since the airline industry deregulation in 1976, causing an increase in airline travel costs, national car rental gave flat rates for car renters, who chose renting cars rather than flying.

Back in the 1970’s, National car rentals was also the first company to have a corporate business account facility. Although the scheme has been adapted and copied over the years, fundamentally, the frequent renter program was brought in by National Car Rentals after their work with the corporate rental sector. It was also the first to use paperless car rentals and use computers to make dealings faster; they called this the Emerald Club and the Paperless Express Rental Agreement. This service has been extended so that customers no longer need to wait at the rental counter meaning they can collect their rental car with even fewer delays; it is called The Emerald Aisle program. Another scheme initiated from this was the Choice Rental Process which meant that a customer could reserve whatever car he wanted combined with QuickRent which gave the customer the same freedom to miss the rental counter as The Emerald Asile did as long as they booked online.

The service National Car Rentals gives to its customers continues to grow with a large number of airlines in order to provide them with even better deals. Many airlines now work with National Car Rentals and some even use miles driven as air miles, many of these companies you may already know like; Air Canada, Air Miles, Air France, Alaska Airlines, Alitalia, America West airlines, American Airlines, ATA airlines, Delta Airlines, Continental Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, Iberia airlines, Midwest airlines, Lanchile, United Airlines and Northwest airlines.

National Car Rentals has not stopped at just airlines either as they have also added hotels to their affiliation portfolio including the Coast hotels group where customer discounts have been arranged.

Even the famous Hilton Hotels have made arrangements exclusively for National car Rental customers plus American Express who will award points to its customers if they are registered with them.

Sometimes with all the other services it is easy to forget that they also supply rental cars and there is an extensive range to choose from. Choice is the keyword at National and this can be seen when you know the effort involved in obtaining such a wide range of vehicles that are available to their customers.

National Car rentals also have special offers for their customers, one of which is the Last minute specials to go; which offers different specials every week at different locations. If you are not in hurry then the Great Internet Rates - Book Ahead Special, might appeal to you as the earlier you reserve you car over the internet the better the discount will be. Other internet only, early bird, offers apply to bookings over a weekend and for special vehicles like a SUV or mini-van.

The Gosby House is another memorable Pacific Grove bed and breakfast. The historic Victorian is painted a welcoming shade of yellow, and the interior is just as charming. Beautifully decorated rooms are a perfect catalyst for romance, and several have sitting areas with a fireplace. The Carriage House has two suites, each with a double spa tub, fireplace and balcony. This Monterey Peninsula bed and breakfast is just a few minutes from the bay in downtown Pacific Grove.

Havana’s Capitol: former government palace and today a museum.

Most likely the most significant and stunning building in Havana City is the Capitol building. A visit to this amazing estate of the art palace is something you should not miss while visiting Havana.

Only few connoisseurs of the Cuban history know that the very first Botanical Garden in Cuba in the 19 Century was located in the land today occupied by the Capitol building.

The start of the project of building the Capitol was delayed in many occasions mainly due to the political instability; but in 1926 the construction of what was going to be the Chamber of Representatives of Cuba Finally began.

The majestic building was inaugurated on Thursday May 20, in the afternoon, with the presence of the president of the Republic and the diplomatic corps accredited in the Island in that time.

The group that took part in the planning of the construction of the Capitol was also joined together by engineers and Cuban architects under the capable hands of Eugenio Raynieri Piedra of a renowned architected famous for his artistic designs. The total cost of the project reached the 17 million dollars.

To any pedestrian, the dome of the Capitol of Havana can easily draw his/her attention, fifth in the world of Renaissance style that, for its proportions and silhouettes, it remembers to San Pedro’s Basilica, in Rome. The dome is the second higher point of the city, preceded by the Monument to Mart in the Revolution Square.

A striking aspect of this building is its faade of impressive neoclassic style, with 17 ionic columns of granite and in its three majestic mahogany access doors that lead to the core of the Capitol. All three doors are ornamented with impressions evoking happenings of the history of Cuba.

It has been about eight decades since the Capitol building was finished in Cuba. It stands out for its monolithic construction considered among the three most important in Latin America and no doubt about it the most impressive building in Cuba.

From the Capitol of Havana -that is not national -, the kilometer 0 of all the highways of the country begins. It was designed so that in it the two chambers of the legislative body of the Republic worked all the sessions until 1959.

The statue of the Republic of Cuba, inspired in the Havanan model Lily Vlty, has the third place in the world of the highest sculptures indoors. It was installed in 1929, in the room of the Lost Steps (Saln de los Pasos Perdidos). It was made by Angelo Zanelli who also used this model to sculpt the statues of the central piazza.

Visiting the Capitol of Havana is just an amazing trip to the past. It was built to resemble the one in the United States, but in its rooms you will find a lot of history hidden behind its columns. Your vacation will be complete when you experience this visit. Do not miss the chance.
